Playoffs/postseason
Football: Varsity is off this week and awaits the outcome of Friday’s Madisonville-Salado game to determine its seeding for the postseason – with a Madisonville win over Salado or Salado win by 13 points or less, GHS enters the playoffs as the district’s No. 3 seed. The Hornets’ bi-district game will be played Friday, Nov. 11, at Hutto ISD stadium vs. Cuero, La Grange or Smithville.
